I have also been playing through a little game called The Last of Us on my PS4 recently after that overlooked indie TV show released on HBO (you probably haven't heard of it). This week, we got to grips with some slick biking action in Gripper, entered a world of well-packaged satire with The Last Worker, and hunted demons in the beautiful but lacking Saga of Sins. This isn't to mention the world of reviews. Yes, this was the week that we fell thoroughly back into the Zelda spirit (as if we ever left) as we broke down every new detail in the latest trailer, had a close look at that special edition OLED and discussed Nintendo's previous successes with the 'more of the same' format.Įlsewhere, we saw the official cancellation of E3, felt sentimental looking at eShop fan art (yes, it's a real thing) following its 3DS and Wii U closure, dove head first into even more Mario movie casting rumours and saw Poochy drift onto the scene in Mario Kart Tour. One week ago today we were looking at the calendar and commenting on how things seemed pretty quiet for Nintendo to round out March and then out of nowhere - boom! - we're hit with our first proper look at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and everything changed.
